This September 12-13, I'll be taking on a challenge unlike any I've done before as a Sponsored Athlete in PHL24, a 24-hour endurance event hosted by Legacy of Hope. For 24 continuous hours, I'll be climbing the iconic Rocky Steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art alongside other athletes, all united by one mission: supporting cancer patients and their families when they need it most.

This challenge is deeply personal to me.

Like so many others, cancer has touched my life in ways I'll never forget. I've lost my grandmother (my loving Nana), family members, and friends to this disease. I've witnessed the heartbreak, uncertainty, and challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis, not only for patients but for the people who love them. That's why I'm stepping up for PHL24.

Every step I climb is in honor of those we've lost, those currently fighting, and the families standing beside them every day.

Legacy of Hope provides emergency support to cancer patients and families when all other resources have been exhausted. They help provide essentials many of us take for granted, including healthy food, heat, hot water, housing support, and other critical needs during some of life's most difficult moments. Thanks to their work, more than 8,200 cancer patients and family members in Philadelphia have been protected from hunger and given hope when they needed it most.

The truth is, 24 hours of climbing stairs is going to be tough. There will be moments when I'm tired, sore, and questioning why I signed up for this. But compared to what cancer patients and their families face every day, it's a challenge I'm proud to take on.
