PHL24 is personal 💙
In 2009 I lost my Dad to lymphoma and in 2017, my best friend Carrie died from colon cancer. When my dad passed away, I was focused on raising two little kids and barely making it through each day. But when Carrie died in 2017, something shifted. I realized I couldn't let another day pass without finding a meaningful way to honor both of them. I wanted their lives and their memories to inspire something positive every single day—and that commitment ultimately became the foundation for PHL24.
This September 12th and 13th, I'm proud to climb the Rocky Steps at the Philadelphia Art Museum for 24 continuous hours alongside 30 other (slightly unhinged) athletes who are turning action into meaningful impact. Every step represents the uphill journey cancer patients and their families face every day. Every dollar raised helps ensure they don't have to face that journey alone.
PHL24 is built on resilience, community, and showing up for others when they need it most. We’ll be climbing with the grit, compassion, and community-driven resilience that Philadelphia is known for. We climb because others are in the fight of their lives.
We climb so that families have access to fresh, healthy food, heat, hot water and other critical necessities during the most difficult moments of their lives. Every dollar provides immediate relief and support to local cancer patients and families. The donation you make today puts food on the table tomorrow.
Thank you for helping me honor the lives of my Dad and Carrie by making a difference in the lives of others.
