I Run for Those Who Cannot...

On March 29th, 2026, I am running my second half marathon, the Philadelphia Love Run Half Marathon, in honor of my grandmother, Ann Birchler, who passed away from cancer in October 2025. This race is deeply personal to me, and I am running to raise $500 for Legacy of Hope, a charity that supports families facing cancer when they need it most.

The goal is simple but powerful: to ensure that families in the Greater Philadelphia area with a loved one fighting cancer never have to worry about going hungry or losing their home. Every week, families across Philadelphia with a loved one fighting cancer go hungry. Legacy of Hope partners with local hospitals to quickly identify financially vulnerable cancer patients and provide critical emergency support—helping prevent hunger and homelessness during an already overwhelming time.
