This year, I’m running the Philly Love Run in honor of my dad, Chris Arends, who was diagnosed with cancer this past October and is currently undergoing treatment. Since starting treatment, his scans have shown he’s on a positive trajectory. He continues to fight this battle head-on with resilience and unwavering courage. Walking alongside him through this has shown me just how much strength, hope, and support it takes to fight a cancer diagnosis. That’s why supporting Legacy of Hope means so much to me.
