This September 13th and 14th, 30 of us will be climbing the Rocky Steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art for 24 hours straight during Legacy of Hope’s 8th annual PHL24 endurance event.
This event started 8 years ago, a few months after Carrie died. And several years after I lost my Dad. PHL24 gave me a place to put my grief.
We're climbing because those who need the most have the least and it's unbearable to sit back and watch and do nothing. We're climbing so people will not feel alone. So they know that despite how difficult their fight is, there are people who are rooting for them, standing with them in the toughest moments. I promise never to quit, and I need your support. The 24-hour athlete team remains steadfast in our resolve to make a lasting impact on the lives of those who have nowhere else to turn. We promise to leave our Legacy of Hope.
Check out Legacy of Hope's Emergency Patient Support Network which is literally changing lives and providing hope everyday. To date we’ve prevented hunger for over 7,700 cancer patients and family members living in Philadelphia.
