Hi everyone, and thanks for taking the time to check out my page!

This September 21st and 22nd, I will be climbing the Rocky Steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art for 24 hours straight as one of Legacy of Hope’s sponsored 24-hour athletes in the 7th annual PHL24 endurance event. Legacy of Hope is a wonderful organization that means even more to me since the Philadelphia running community and I lost a dear friend, David April, to cancer last December. (If you look closely, you can see David on my shirt.) 

This year, the PHL24 in 2024 fundraising goal is $250,000. The goal is bold because our patients' needs are critical. With your support, achieving this goal will enable us to acquire a building that will serve as the David April Emergency Patient Support Community Center. The Center will be a hub of essential services for cancer patients and their families who are facing hunger and homelessness because they are too sick to work.  While this journey won’t be easy, Legacy of Hope's commitment and resolve are unwavering.  

I promise not to quit, and I need your support. The 24 hour athlete team remains steadfast in our resolve to make a lasting impact on the lives of those who have nowhere else to turn. We promise to leave our Legacy of Hope, and I hope you will help.

Check out Legacy of Hope's Emergency Patient Support Network which is literally changing lives and providing hope everyday. To date we’ve prevented hunger for 6,742 cancer patients and family members living in Philadelphia.
