Dear Family and Friends,

This year for my 28th birthday, I have elected to run the Philadelphia Love Half Marathon. On March 30th, 2025 I am dedicating my race to family, friends, and those in the Philadelphia community who have been affected by cancer. This is a disease that attempts to steal the health and wellbeing of our loved ones and rob us of the time we should have together. Sadly, we lost my Uncle Jack to lung cancer in September 2023. As my family grieved, I felt powerless and unable to offer anything meaningful to lift the sorrow. I turned to running, and with each labored breath, I felt I was honoring Uncle Jack's memory. In November 2024, I completed the AACR Philadelphia Marathon. That experience showed me the power we have as runners to instill hope and contribute to a productive cause, like Legacy of Hope. 

I am proud to support Legacy of Hope in their mission to prevent cancer patients, or their families, from going hungry or losing their homes. Legacy of Hope created the Emergency Patient Support Network in partnership with Philadelphia hospitals to quickly identify financially disadvantaged cancer patients, and provide emergency support. Without the Emergency Patient Support Network, countless cancer patients in Philadelphia will continue facing hunger and homelessness.

I believe that Legacy of Hope is an important resource for our community. Please join me in helping them to reach their $250,000 goal. Every dollar helps.
