As long as I can move, I’ll do what I can to support people fighting cancer. Cancer is shit.
For the third year in a row, I’m taking on PHL24: climbing the Rocky Steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art for 24 continuous hours, from September 12–13.
I do it because cancer already asks too much of patients and their families. They shouldn’t also have to worry about whether they can afford groceries, keep the heat on, or stay in their homes.
Every cent you donate goes directly to Legacy of Hope’s Emergency Patient Support Network, helping Philadelphia-area cancer patients and their families with food, housing, utilities, and other basic needs when every other resource has been exhausted.
Twenty-four hours on the steps will hurt. That’s the point. For one day, I can choose to be uncomfortable in service of people going through something infinitely harder.
If you can give, please do. $10, $25, $100 — it all matters.
I’ll keep climbing as long as my body lets me.
Thank you for helping me make those steps count.
