Fight the Good Fight
Pain and suffering are universal. The etiology of pain and suffering may be different, but it is understood and experienced by all.
I never had cancer, but have been brought to my knees, struggled greatly, lost dearly, failed publicly and privately, and felt the intense pain of despair and hopelessness. This is why I fight for those who cannot.
On September 21st I will climb the Rocky Steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art for 24 hours with a group of courageous athletes who've faced adversity and whose purpose is singular. Our goal: build an emergency center in Philadelphia that will provide crucial support at no cost for cancer patients and families in the fight of their lives. These are patients and families referred to Legacy of Hope every day who are too sick to work and cannot afford basic necessities.
I do not expect climbing the steps for 24 hours or building the emergency center will be easy, but the alternative is worse and failure cannot be an option. The patients we support are suffering greatly, and while we cannot remove this burden, we will fight with them and for them. I humbly ask for your support using the link in my bio. Please share this and join me on September 21st at PHL24. Never stop...
